The TAG Regional Conference was organized by AMIDEAST from March 30th till April 1st, 2004 in Beirut. Tomorrow’s Advice actively participated in the Conference’s sessions which focused on a large number of issues including: Human and Legal Rights, Private Sector, Public Awareness Campaigns, Rights for Specific Groups, Consumer Protection, Environment, Health, Advocacy, NGO Sector, Governmental Procedures and Access to Information.
The Conference, which brought together participants from Machrek and Maghreb Arab countries, aimed to create a network between regional organizations that are implementing projects dealing with the above issues, and promoting better Transparency, Accountability and Good Governance.
We presented our two TAG projects namely “Public Housing Programs” and “Documentary List of Dangerous Drugs”, which attracted positive comments and responses from local and regional participants.
